Most of you know me as an admin for many years here, but it turns out that I have a top secret identity. I wrote a book!
I've been a video game maniac my whole life. I wrote this book because I wanted to show how valuable and important games can be in our lives. They shape our views, bring us closer together, and teach persistence and practice. Also . . . well, they're just really fun.
One of the things Josh does in the book is imagine how his heroes would do things. So today, I'm wondering how my heroes would celebrate the release of a book they've been working on for a couple years. Here goes:
Link would smash a bunch of pots and chase some chickens. This seems destructive and pointless. But I'm glad he's happy.
Steve from Minecraft would build a huge obsidian monument to his accomplishment. Kind of braggy, and I don't have any obsidian on me.
Yoshi would eat someone and lay them as an egg. Honestly, this is just gross.
Kylo Ren would smash things with his lightsaber and then go sit in his room and write poems about the pools of darkness in his soul. Okay, he's definitely not one of my heroes.
Olvan from Spirit Animals would demand that Keith bring him that new blend of Amayan dark coffee. I SAID HALF SKIM ALMOND MILK, KEITH. GET IT RIGHT.
Well, I guess I'll just have to celebrate my own way.
Admin Gavin would hang out with his pals on the message boards.
Please tell us why you'd like to report this post
